COUNTRY CLUB

Organized Last Night Will Erect

a Club House.

The Country Club met at the home of Mr. R. E. Evans last night, and completed their organization by electing the following Board of Directors: Edward Olcott, R. E. Evans, George Ball, Fred Kimbrough, and R. E. Walker. Mr. Olcott was elected chairman.

James Bingham, J. R. Marsh, Edward Ethell, Mrs. R. E. Evans and Miss Carroll Hemingray were selected as a committee to draft rules and regulations for the government of the club.

There are as yet eighty shares of the stock that remain unsold, and several of the members who were present last night volunteered to dispose of a certain number, and it is more than probable that all will be taken today.

The plans for the erection of a club house have been adopted, and work on the building will be commenced at an early date. This building will be frame, one-story high, and will consist of a reception room, a kitchen, dining room and a room for lockers. A broad veranda with French windows, opening from the reception and dining rooms, will be added.

A soon as the club is organized an expert will come from Chicago to lay out the golf links, and to instruct such of the members as desire to be initiated into the mysteries of the game.
