Mr. Hemingray Says No Arrangements

to Move Have Been Made.

The following article was published in the Lancaster (Ohio) Daily Democrat and copied by the Anderson Herald:

"Messrs. David C. Hemingray of Covington, Ky., and R. G. Hemingray of Muncie, Ind., were in the city on Friday to look over the city with a view of bringing here what is known as the Hemingray Glass Company, of Muncie, Ind., of which Hon. Bradford Shinkle of Cincinnati, is one of the lage [sic] large stockholders.

"The gentlemen were shown over the city by Mr. Charles Townson and were much impressed. They make tableware and bottles and expect to employ 350 people."

When approached on the subject, Mr. Ralph Hemingray said: "You can say for me that if there is any such move contemplated I know nothing of it. I am the president of the Hemingray Glass company and if there as a move of this kind contemplated I think I would be consulted. This is the same old story that has been so frequently circulated and you can say for me that we have made no arrangements to move our plant away from Muncie."
