P. H. Lytle, foreman at the Covington Glass works had a trial before Esquire Francis and a jury of seven men yesterday afternoon, upon the charge of knocking down and kicking a boy named Rogers about twelve years old, because he would not work faster. The jury could not agree upon a verdict and were discharged. There will be another trial of the case today.
