MUNCIE-MADE PRODUCTS

                                                                                     TO SERVE AS SOUVENIRS

Muncie-made products will be given as souvenirs to the delegates attending the Municipal League convention convening here today. George H. Koons, city attorney, conceived the idea to "boost Muncie.".

Small vases selected from the choice stock of the Gill Clay Pot Company will be given each woman delegate, and a smoking stand, from the Griffith Furniture Company, and three electric corn poppers from the Excel Electric Company will be awarded at each business session of the convention. A silver tray from the Durham Manufacturing Company, a scarf and pillow from the Thomas Auto Top Company, and a lamp from the Aladdin Company will also be gifts.

As the delegates register they will be given a leather loose-leaf memorandum made on special order by the A. E. Boyce Company, pencils from the Western Reserve Life Insurance Company, and a fruit jar lid removing tool from the Tyler Manufacturing Company. Glass insulators, in miniature, as made for use all over the world by the Hemingray Company, will be distributed for paper weights. Three Muncie banks, the Peoples Trust and Savings Company, the Delaware County National Bank, and the Merchants National Banks have also signified intentions of offering some Muncie made souvenir.
