Kicked by Horse.

Shum Starr, the son of Sheriff Starr, was painfully injured Monday evening in a runaway accident. He, in company of two other boys, were driving his father's horse attached to a trap, when the horse became frightened.

The animal began to kick and the boy leaned forward in the vehicle just in time to catch the heels of the horse on his lower jaw. The blow knocked out three teeth and badly cut the lip. Young Starr is confined to his home and it will be several days before he recovers,
