Wrong Impression.

An evening paper prints a story that Alf Meacham will not hold his position as collector of the customs for the "port" of Nogales, Arizona. Nothing could be truer than this for Mr. Meacham was never appointed to that position. There is some controvery [sic] controversy, however, over the appointment of Will Hoey for the position of collector of customs for Arizona. Whether the former incumbent will be able to hold his place is yet a matter of question.
