Glass tank springs leak at Hemingray

FACTORY THREATENED

AS TANK SPRINGS LEAK

 

Plant 2 of the Hemingray Glass Company was threatened Tuesday about 12:30 a. m., when a tank of molten glass sprang a leak. Firemen laid several lines of hose to play water on the molten glass until the hole was plugged.

A grass fire in the 600 block, Bethel Ave., was extinguished by firemen at 11:38 a m., Tuesday.
