Compensation Sought by Five

Persons

 

Five industrial compensation cases were heard by Horace G. Yergin, Newcastle attorney, represent­ing the State Industrial Board, in the commissioner’s courtroom at the court house Wednesday morn­ing. Two more Wednesday after­noon were to complete the hearing.

The five in which evidence was given in the morning were, Nahor Cade vs. Machinists Foundry; Arthur Acker vs. the Indiana Foun­dry Corporation; John S. Hinds vs. the Indiana Steel and Wire Com­pany; George R. Thompson vs. the Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing Company and William E. Duncan vs. the Muncie Products Corpora­tion.

Wednesday afternoon Mr. Yergin heard evidence in the cases of Leonard Morgason vs. the Muncie Foundry and Machine Company, and John Barrett vs. the Hemingray Glass Manufacturing Company. The case of Charles Lang against the French Steam Dye Works was dismissed.
