INDUSTRIAL SUITS

State Board Member Holds

Local Inquiry

Evidence in three claims for compensation was submitted in the circuit court jury room Wednesday before Harry McMillan, of the state industrial board. Cases heard, and attorneys for the claimants were; A. F. Hubartt vs. Hayes Construction Company, Archie Lapin J. Herbert Kinsey vs. Indiana Steel and Wire Company, Romney Wilson of Indianapolis, and Glen Coffery vs. Muncie Malleable Company, O'Neill and Bales.

The Coffery case was a death claim, brought for the widow of Glen Coffery. He was injured when a mould exploded at the Muncie Malleable Company, bits of metal entering one ear. A mastoid operation was necessary and he died as the result of an infection.

The following cases, also scheduled for hearing Wednesday, were continued: Dwight Johnson vs. Indiana General Service Company, Robert H. Sears vs. Hemingray Glass Company and Henry Rothenberger vs. Ball Brothers' Manufacturing Company.
