OWENS-ILLINOIS

Organization Shakeup Is

Announced.

 

Organizational changes are con­templated in the Owens Illinois Glass Company, to be effective prob­ably about the middle of April, Philip W. McAbee, manager of the Muncie plant, formerly the Hemingray Glass Company, announced Friday.

In the interim. Mr. and Mrs. McAbee will make an extended visit in California. W. P. Zimmerman will be in charge of the Muncie Owens Illinois plant.

Under the old organization Mr. McAbee was president and Mr. Zim­merman secretary-treasurer.

Mr. McAbee, who is director for the Muncie Civic Theater, said that the original Civic Theater program, as outlined last fall by the board of directors, would be carried out dur­ing his absence.
