W. E Evans formerly of Hemingray dies in Cincinnati

FORMER MUNCIE MAN

DIES AT CINCINNATI

According to word received by friends here, W. E. Evans, 68, for­mer Muncie resident, died Wednes­day morning at his home, 3100 Woodburn Ave., Cincinnati. Al­though Mr. Evans had been in ill health for two months, his death was unexpected. The only survivor is the widow, Ida Mae Evans.

Mr. and Mrs. Evans came to Mun­cie about 20 years ago from Coving­ton, Ky., and were residents of the city for about five years. During their entire stay they lived at 814 East Main St. Mr. Evans was con­nected with the Hemingray Glass Company in an executive position. They had lived in Cincinnati since leaving Muncie, but have returned frequently for visits to friends here. Funeral services for Mr. Evans will be conducted Friday morning in Cincinnati, and burial will take place there, also.
