John W. Boch has started the construction of an electric-porcelain plant at Newall, W. Va., opposite the Ohio River from East Liverpool, O. It is related that one of the largest uses of electric-porcelain goods in the United States will take the entire output of this property.

The Imperial Porcelain Works, Mulberry street, New York, was partially destroyed by fire recently, creating a loss estimated at $50,000. It will be rebuilt on a larger scale.
