John S. Lapp dies

JOHN S. LAPP

 

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., May 2 -- John S. Lapp, founder of the Lapp Insulator Company in Le Roy, N. Y., died yesterday at his winter home here. His age was 74. He had been ill for the last six weeks.

Mr. Lapp, a native of Honeoye Falls, N. Y., founded the company in 1916 and served as its president until a few years ago, when he became chairman of the board.

He is survived by his widow, four sons and a daughter.
