Porcelain Knobs
The reversible square knob shown in Fig. 1 is equipped with a curved wireway, which, the manufacturers declare, draws the wires very tight. It is also provided with a heavy central shoulder which gives strength at the weakest point. The knobs shown in Fig. 2 is designed for rubber-covered wire in sizes up to and including No. 8. Tie were can also be used with this knob. Only one screw or nail is necessary to fasten the device. Both knobs are the product of the Illinois Electric Porcelain Company, Macomb, Ill. The latter knob was designed by the Snyder-Hunt Company, of Belle Plaine, Ia., for which the above company is manufacturing the device.
