Findlay Interchangeable Self-Centering Split Knob

The Findlay Electric Porcelain Company, of Findlay, O., has placed on the market a new split knob, which is both interchangeable and self-centering. All the pieces being exactly alike, the knob can be used for crossover wires by simply adding extra pieces and lengthening the attachment screw or wire nail.

The knob is somewhat larger in diameter than the ordinary old style knob, and being provided with deeper grooves, the wire is gripped firmly in place. Every piece being exactly alike, there is no loss in time in matching up caps with bottoms, and no waste of material on account of broken or lost caps. The self-centering feature makes the knob easy to install, thus saving time.

Its substantial construction makes it possible to install it with wire nails and leather washers, without the danger of breakage when driving the nail into place.
