Two Veteran Glass Workers.

[Special to The Indianapolis News.]

Muncie, Ind., February 17. — J. H. Cashdollar, a prominent citizen and a gatherer at the Over window-glass factory, is one of the oldest men in his line of business in the world. Mr. Cashdollar is nearing the eighty mark. He does the difficult work required by his position with as much vigor as the younger men in the same work, and says he has no intention of retiring from active labor.

It is this city, also, that contains one of the oldest glass-blowers in the trade. He is James Dixon, who is employed at the Hemingray glass factory. Mr. Dixon now is seventy years old. Glass-blowing usually wears out a man in seven years, and few exceed that period. Mr. Dixon seems to have defied all known rules in the glass business by working actively at his trade for so long a time that he has forgotten when he first began.
