MUNCIE — Thieves entered the home of Ralph G. Hemingray, a glass manufacturer, early in the evening and, overlooking silverware, jewels and other valuables, stole a four-and-a-half-pound slab of bacon. The family, is away from home, and Elmer Clyde, the butler, on entering the house, noticed a light in an upstairs room. He saw a negro jump through an upstairs window, clasping the bacon. Then a white man, evidently an accomplice, who had hidden, left by way of the front door.
