Dies in Conservatory.

LONDON, Sept. 11. — Mrs. James Gordon Sartori Perin, the beautiful young wife of Laurence Perin, an ex-inmate of sanitariums, with whom she eloped five years ago, shot herself to death today in the conservatory of the house of John Acyrayd, the music master of Har­row School, where she was a guest.

The cause of the suicide has not yet been disclosed. Perin, who had been with his wife until the first of the week, is said to have sailed for America.

The Acyrayd home is at Harrow-on-the-Hill, a London suburb. No light was thrown on the affair by the Acyrayds, who say Mrs. Perin was apparently in good health and spirits the last they saw her.

An attempt is being made to keep the details of the suicide from the public, though officials are probing the affair.

Laurence Perin is a nephew of Mrs. Dan Hemingray, of Cincin­nati. His wife was Miss Jane Gor­don Sartori, of Philadelphia, a wealthy and beautiful girl.
