Councilmen.


A regular meeting of the Board of Councilmen of the City of Cov­ington was held in the Council chamber Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 1905, at 7:30 o'clock.

President Brown in the chair and all members present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Appropriation Ordinance No. 153, appropriating $3786.76. Passed.

Petition from R. C. and D. C. Hemingray in reference to taxes. Referred to Committee on Law and Solicitor.

Report allowing C. G. Higgins to pay his taxes on an assessment of $6000 for the year 1905. Concurred in.

Ordinance levying and assessing a tax for the reconstruction of Elm-st., from Philadelphia-st. to 752 feet, west, with cement side­ walks. Passed.

Resolution ordering a light on Western-av., between Ninth-sts. Adopted.

On motion the Board of Councilmen adjourned.
