How the Flint Glass Trust Starts
Off With English Capital
Backing It.
It is announced today from Pittsburg that the flint glass manufacturers have effected a combine to be known an the National Bottle Co. The incorporation papers which have been filed show that the capital stock is $100,000, but will soon be raised to $1,000,000 and that English capital will be interested.
It is stated there will be 27 firms in the combine, All but two of those wanted have signed. The Madison county plants in the combine are the Anderson Flint Bottle Co. and the Pennsylvania Glass Co. of Anderson; Wagner Glass Co. of Ingalls; Chicago Glass Co. (Wagner's) of Frankton and Nivison & Weiskopf, of Elwood. — Anderson Bulletin.
