How the Flint Glass Trust Starts

Off With English Capital

Backing It.

It is announced today from Pittsburg that the flint glass manufacturers have effected a combine to be known an the National Bottle Co. The incorporation papers which have been filed show that the capital stock is $100,000, but will soon be raised to $1,000,000 and that English capital will be interested.

It is stated there will be 27 firms in the combine, All but two of those wan­ted have signed. The Madison county plants in the combine are the Anderson Flint Bottle Co. and the Pennsylvania Glass Co. of Anderson; Wagner Glass Co. of Ingalls; Chicago Glass Co. (Wag­ner's) of Frankton and Nivison & Weiskopf, of Elwood. — Anderson Bulletin.
