NEW INVENTION TO

MAKE INSULATORS

MACHINE CONTRIVANCE OF MUNCIE

MAN EXPECTED TO REVOLUTIONIZE

MANUFACTURE.

[Special to The Item.]

Muncie, Ind., May 27. — Henry Wagner, the well known glass manufacturer of this city, has recently invented and patented a machine for making glass insulators that promises not only to revolutionize that industry but to make a large fortune for the inventor.

There are but two firms manufacturing the glass insulators — one is located at Muncie and the other in New York.

By the process employed by these firms but one insulator is made at a time.

But by Mr. Wagner’s machine six, eight or almost any number can be made at once.

The machines can be built at small cost and a factory equipped with them would practically control the insulator market — which is now in the hands of two firms.

Mr. Wagner has taken out patents on his machine in Germany, Belgium, France and England.

He expects to roganize [sic] organize a company and build a factory here.

A number of local capitalists have expressed a willingness to put money into the enterprise.
