Spur Line to be removed from old California Glass Insulator Co. factory site

ABANDON UNUSED TRACKS


The Pacific Electric Railway Co. has filed with the railroad commission three applications for authority to abandon spur tracks as follows:

Playa del Rey station, between Playa del Rey and Venice. Tills spur track was built to serve the Pavilion auditorium in Playa del Rey, which has ceased to be operated as a pleasure resort.

At Gaspur station on its Long Beach-Wilmington line, built to serve the California Glass Insulator Co. The Insulator Co. has removed from the location.

At Motordrome station on its Del Rey-Redondo line, which was originally built to servo the Motordrome. The Motordrome has been closed and the building removed.
