Ex Crystal Glass Co. employees looking for land to erect a glass factory

GLASS PLANT PROJECT.

New Westminster, Feb. 10. -- Business men who were originally interested in the promoting of the Crystal Glass Works, are at present in the city looking for a site to erect a factory for the purpose of running a glass factory, which will be operated on a co-operative system. The men interested are chiefly ex-employees of the Crystal Glass Works, and have been encouraged in their venture by large users of the goods which they purpose manufacturing.

The new company will make use of the native sand, whilst soda ash will be obtained on the coast, thus dispensing with the delay likely to occur from having to import the latter from the old country.
