GLASS WORKS TO

BE OPERATED AGAIN

NEW WESTMIINSTER, August 31. -- The plant of the Crystal Glass Company at Sapperton, which has not been running for some time, the company having gone bankrupt last year, has been sold to J. S. Colton-Fox, a wealthy Englishman. The works are to be reopened with new machinery in a few months, and will probably be run by one of the glass concerns in Pittsburg, which city is headquarters for the industry on this continent. Chemical works, whose refuse is used in glass manufacture, will be established in connection with the glass plant.
