Legal Beer Starts Machinery at Full Blast

Pictured above is that bottle 250 Hemingray Glass Company employes have been looking for anxiously for several months -- the first bottle made at the Hemingray factory for legal beer. The other 248 emplyes are just as happy about it as the two men in the picture appear. So are the company officials. The first bottle was released from the blowmold, shown in the lower left-hand corner of the picture, at 8 a. m. last Tuesday. Now the factory has two 60-ton capacity tanks in operation and is working three shifts. When that bottle is filled and shoved over the counter, a lot of other people will be happy too.
