Promotes Two

Bill Stewart, 2005 S. Hackley St., has been made manager of the process and product-development department of the Industrial Materials Division of Kimble Glass Co.

Ed Spence, manager of the Muncie Owens-Illinois Plant an­nounced Stewart's promotion Sat­urday.

Herman Holm will succeed Stew­art as supervisor of the maintenance department. Both assign­ments were effective Dec. 1.

Stewart, in his new assignment will maintain headquarters at Muncie and report to E. P. Lockart, general manager of the in­dustrials materials division.

Stewart joined Owens-Illinois as project engineer for the Kimble Division Laboratory nine years ago. Holm started in the Muncie plant in 1929.
