At this date conditions at the Hemingray plant are about the same as they have been for the past two months, with one tank working, although shipping has picked up a little, which will help to keep down the stock. Local 23 is proud of the record made by the boys that played on the Hemingray basketball team in the Industrial League. The Hemingray team won the championship of the Industrial League, then played the Den Zur team, champions of the Federal League of Indianapolis, Ind., for the state championship of teams in their class and defeated the Indianapolis team by a score of 29 to 21, this giving the Hemingray team the undisputed championship of Indiana. Brother Wm. J. Finan who has been down south for the past 26 months is back home again.
