Good turnout reported at public hearing regarding locating Harloe factory in Hawley

HAWLEY.

Notwithstanding the inclement weather last Monday evening there was a good representation of our business men present at the public meeting called to discuss the matter of locating the plant of the Harloe Insulator company here. The inventor, Mr. Harloe, graphically explained the merits of his invention and the prospects are that the industry will be retained in our village. A number of shares of the stock were subscribed for at the meeting and more have been sold since.
