McLaughlin among concerns to receive gas refund

SAID EXCESSIVE

SAN FRANCISCO. Aug. 28. — The State Railroad Commission declar­ing gas rates charged eight Los An­geles companies by the Southern California Gas Company were ex­cessive, today ordered a refund ag­gregating $10,000 made the firms.

The following firms were named as recipients of the refund: The Batchelder-Wilson Co., Mclaughlin Glass Co., White Memorial hospital, Repcal Brass Co., E. A. Hoffman Candy Co., Junior Norris Galvanizing Inc., Western Galvanizing Co., Union Tank and Pipe Co.
