Kimble Credit Union Elects Paul Freeman Paul Freeman was named president and Bill Brown vice president of the Muncie Kimble Glass Co. Federal Credit Union at the recent annual meeting of the organization in Cabin 4 at Heekin Park. Other officers are: Jack MacMillan, secretary; Hollis Campbell, social and educational chairman and R. Merrill Wilson, treasurer. Previous to the election of officers, Campbell, Wilson and MacMillan were elected to the board of directors. Holdover board members are Bill Brown and Paul Freeman. Earl Hiatt Jr. and Joe Sheridan were elected to the credit committee. Durward Carmichael is the holdover member. Elected to new terms to the supervisory committee were Forrest Phillips and Ed Langas. Holdover member is Jim Barnell. The annual financial and statistical report pointed out that 235 of the 291 eligible employes of Kimble Glass are members of the credit union. The organization has assets of $53,028.69. Income on loan interest last year was $5,232.65. Total expenses were $2,496.76. A total of 290 loans worth $117,097.95 were made in 1958 and loans amounting to $401,418.96 have been made to members since the credit union was founded in 1954. |
