"Hook-It" Knob

The Trenle Porcelain Company, East Liverpool, Ohio, has recently placed on the market an unusually simple type of porcelain insulator for many kinds of wiring work. As shown in the accompanying illustration the wire is held in place by virtue of the slight curve or kink which it makes as it is fitted into the grooves of the insulator. The wire may be inserted or removed without the necessity of loosening or tightening the screw or nail which holds the insulator in place. The insulator measures 1-3/4 in. in height by 1-1/4 in. in diameter.
