In 1905 Ross D. Brown invented and secured thee United States patents on an automatic glass gathering machine. This machine was used at Corning, N.Y., at the Skillen Goodin glass factory, in Yorktown, Ind., and also at the Hemingray glass factory in Muncie, Ind.
