MARBLES AND TOYS. Incorporation Papers for Akron's Latest Industry.
Incorporation papers for the American Marble & Toy Manufacturing Company, capital stock $100,000 of Akron, of which an extensive mention was made in Sunday's REPUBLICAN, were filed in the office of the Secretary of State this morning, the incorporators being R. W. Sadler, S. C. Dyke, H. F. Miller, A. L. Dyke and B. L. Dodge. At a meeting held in R. W. Sadler's office last night the following directors were chosen: B. L. Dodge, J. A. Koler, Ira M. Miller, F. M. Atterholt, A. L. Dyke, S. C. Dyke and R. W. Sadler. The Board of Directors immediately organized and selected Ira M. Miller, president; J. A. Kohler, vice president, and B. L. Dodge, treasurer. The company purchases entire the manufacturing plants of A. L. Dyke, and S. C. Dyke & Co. Inventories are now being taken and the shops will be running at their full capacity in a few weeks. The $100,000 stock has all been subscribed.
