Kimble Glass Names Deegan as Auditor Rader Deegan has been appointed plant auditor and budget supervisor of the Muncie plant of Kimble Glass Company, according to an announcement by John Bauer, plant manager. He will fill the vacancy created by the death of Kermit Bondy. Deegan was budget analyst at the Muncie plant from June, 1949, until April, 1953, when he was promoted to budget supervisor at the Dorr-Westwood plant in Toledo. He held that position until returning here. He started with Owens-Illinois Dec. 16, 1936, at the Huntington, W. Va., plant as bonus clerk. He also worked as budget clerk there until being transferred to the budget department, Glass Container Division, Toledo, in October, 1941. While at Toledo he worked with various company divisions until 1945, at which time he left the company to be connected with a family business for two years. In 1947 he returned to the company with the Kaylo Division in general engineering and stayed there until coming to Muncie in 1949. His wife, Marion, and Jim and Beth, are in Toledo. They plan to move to Muncie as soon as arrangements are completed. |
