BROOKFIELD GLASS CO. NOT BANKRUPT; F. S. LOCKE IS

An error was made in the headline over a dispatch from Trenton yesterday telling of the bankruptcy proceedings of Frank S. Locke, of Old Bridge. The headline erroneously stated that the Brookfield Glass Company, of Old Bridge, was bankrupt. This far from being the case. The Brookfield Glass Company as far as we know, is a prosperous concern and bankruptcy was filed by Frank S. Locke and purely his personal affair and concerns him alone. The mistake in mixing the Brookfield Glass Company with the affair was due to the fact that Mr. Locke is the superintendent of that concern and the dispatch from Trenton so stated, although in no way involving the company in the court proceedings. In writing the headline for the article the name of the company instead of Mr. Locke, was inadvertently used. The EVENING NEWS regrets the mistake and is glad to make this correction in order to remove any doubts as the financial standing of the concern, which has been given this unfortunate publicity.
