to Honor 50
at Banquet
The 16th Annual Service Award Banquet of the Kimble Glass Co. will honor 50 employes. Service award pins for periods of employment up to 45 years will be given at the dinner, to be held Monday night at the Hotel Roberts.
Approximately 175 persons are expected to attend the program. E. P. Lockhart, general manager of Kimble’s industrial materials division, will be the speaker. Ed Langas will be toastmaster.
Of those receiving service award pins, Martin Erlenbach has 45 years, the longest service award record. Harold Eastus, another recipient, has 35 years. Thirty-year veterans are Velma Rhyan, Bermond Smith, Cecil Waymire, Elbert Brown and Glen Grubbs.
Ernie Parkison, with 25 years of service, will become eligible to join the ‘‘Pioneer Club,” for quarter-century employes. In the 20-year group are Bill Alfont, Gerald Baker, Paul Brogan, Ed Dickson, Carl Greenwalt, Everett Hayden, Emery Jones, Cliff Mann, Tal Merrill, Bill Shaffer, Al Shinn and Ken E. Terry. Also to be honored are 10 employes with 15 years of service each, and 20 with 10 years of service.
