PLANT GETS BIG ORDER

$100,000 Contract Given Kenova

Firm For Insulators.

KENOVA, W. Va., Jan, 26. — A $100,000 order has been awarded the Kenova plant of the Jeffery-Dewitt Insulator Co., by the Tennessee Valley Authority, C. E. Lyons, superintendent, announced Friday.

The new business will increase employment at the plant to 120 men, normal level, and assure work for about two months.

In recent weeks, about 50 men have been employed on a reduced production schedule.

The order is for insulators and line equipment and represents about 60 per cent of the total TVA requlrements for this kind of material.
