Plant Auditor Dies

of Heart Attack

Kermit Bondy, 50, plant auditor of Kimble Glass Company, a subsidiary of Owens-Illinois Glass Company, died suddenly of a heart seizure at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday while preparing to attend a dinner arranged in honor of company executives who were here from Toledo.

He had been with Owens-Illinois 20 years in 1946, when he was transferred to Muncie and promoted to plant auditor. His home was at 220 N. Elm St. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Bondy of Toledo; a son, William of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Joanne Buennagel of Ft. Wayne and Mrs. Barbara Rhodes of Muncie; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be arranged at the Meeks Mortuary, probably Wednesday.

Coroner Eugene Eissman, who made a preliminary investigation of the death, said he was told that Mr. Bondy suffered a coronary attack about four years ago. His wife died three years ago.
