DONAHUE & SONS
Have Bought the A. L. Dyke Store
--Particular Attention to be Paid
to Wholesale Trade
E. Donahue & Sons, who have created a big trade in the past few years as manufacturers and wholesale dealers in cigars and tobaccos, have bought the Dyke store at 147 South Howard st., where A. L. Dyke had been in business for 20 years, and will broaden their operations to include all the lines handled by their predecessor--cigars, tobaccos, books, stationary, papers, confectionery, sporting goods, fire works, notions, toys, etc., especial attention being paid to the wholesale trade in all these lines.
In a few weeks a neat new retail cigar and tobacco stand will be fitted up, where lovers of the weed will find the most varied tastes carefully catered to, and the newspaper and periodical business, as conducted by Mr. Dyke, will be continued as usual.
The DAILY DEMOCRAT will hereafter also be found at this newstand.
