The Akron Insulator & Marble Company is expanding their works

The Akron Insulator and Marble company's works are running to the fullest extent of their capacity, and additions will soon be built which will allow an expansion in product capacity fully 25 per cent. The company suffered with others of its kind during the hard times and furnished only partial employment in 1896 to 35 men. The company now employes 50 men who work full time at wages considerably in excess of those received three years ago. The present rate of increase in the volume of business promises soon to tax the capacity of the company even after the additions are completed and in running order.
