William M. Morgan, 83,

Dies at Nursing Home

William M. Morgan, 83, retired Muncie glassworker who resided at 608 E, Ninth St., died Thurs­day noon at Rest Haven Nursing Home on Bethel Pike following an extended illness.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Meeks Mortu­ary, with the Rev. Robert G. Sulanke officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.

Mr. Morgan, a native of Madi­son County, O., spent most of his life in this community. He was formerly an employe of Ball Brothers Co. and the old Hemingray Glass Co., now the Kimble Glass Co. He was a member of Eagles Lodge.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Pfeiffer of Muncie; two sons, Robert U. Morgan of Rich­mond and John W. Morgan of Muncie; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His wife died here June 30, 1952.
