Richard Dick, plant supervisor of Owens-Illinois Co., was the speaker at the Wednesday lunch­eon meeting of the Noon Opti­mists Club at the Empire Room of the Delaware Hotel. Dick traced the history of the local glass plant, which began operation in 1848 as the Hemingray Glass Works.
