Frances Pace Marsh

 

Frances Pace Marsh, 84, 315 N. Linden, died Monday morning in Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Muncie, the daughter of Charles H. and Mary A. Menard Pace, she attended St. Lawrence School.

She was secretary at Hemingray’s Glass Co., which manufac­tured powerline insulators, glass building blocks and other glass products from 1888 to 1933. She later was a Merchants National Bank secretary.

Her husband was Carleton Marsh, whose fattier started Indi­ana Bridge Co. in the 1880s. He died in 1954.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, member and past officer of Paul Revere Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, member and past presi­dent of the Art Students League, and a former member of the Delaware County Historical Society. She was a member of the Pegasus Club.

Survivors include two sons, David Marsh, Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., and Anthony Marsh, Greentown; nine grandchildren and eight great­ grandchildren.

Services will be at Grace Episco­pal Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Calling will be at Meeks Mortu­ary 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
