Funeral for John Longfellow of Hemingray will be held Monday

LONGFELLOW FUNERAL

WILL BE HELD MONDAY

Funeral services for John Gary Longfellow, 75, who died at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon at the family home, 407 West Ninth street, following an illness of six years, will be held Mon­day afternoon at the Raleigh Chris­tian church at 2:30 o’clock, the cor­tege leaving the home at 12 o'clock. The Reverend Lowell Wilson, of Lew­isville, Ind., will be in charge and burial will be in the Mt. Zion cem­etery. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

Mr. Longfellow was well known in Muncie having lived here many years. Prior to his illness he was employed at the Hemingray Glass company. Surviving are the widow. Susie: three sons, Harvey Lot; Chester R., and John Carlor Longellow. all of Mun­cie: two daughters, Mrs. Claude Duffy, of Gaston, and Mrs. Omar Bailey, of Mays, Ind., and one sister, Mrs. Nancy Hall, of Mays; eight grandchildren and one great grand­ child.
