In Covington.

This place does not suffer as much from floods as other cities along the Ohio River. The Hemingrays were compelled to close down their glass factory yesterday, as the water was encroaching on their pots. The green-house at this place only resumed last Monday, after an idleness of seven months. The Licking Rolling-mill closed last night, as the water bad got in the pits. The water climbing up toward Rickey street last night, but no particular damage is anticipated by tbs people along the Licking.

Some of the stock pens will get a good washing out. The water has crossed over Third street below Philadelphia, and some of the people in that end of the city are moving out. Mitchell & Tranter's rolling-mill is threatened, and three feet more will compel them to stop. Travel along Front street is entirely cut off. The back water is moving back rapidly up Willow Run, but will not go within ten feet of crossing the Lexington pike.
