SOCIETY · · Members of the Muncie Art Students’ League were hostesses at a delightful luncheon at the Hotel Roberts yesterday noon. The guest of honor was Mrs. C. B. King, who organized and is now executive manager of the Hoosier Salon in Chicago. Other guests included the patrons and friends of the Hoosier Salon from Richmond, Newcastle, and Marion. The tables were decorated with spring flowers and yellow tapers. After the luncheon Mrs. F. J. Petty welcomed the guests and introduced Mrs. King, who spoke briefly. Later she conducted the guests through the galleries at Ball State Teachers College where an exhibition of the Hoosier Salon pictures is open to the public. She gave a very interesting account of the artists and their contributions. The luncheon committee included Mrs. Philip McAbee and Mrs. A. L. Dougherty. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Frank C.
