NEW COMPANY ORGANIZED To Take Over Business of Glass Insulator Co. The California Glass Works, recently incorporated, has succeeded to the now defunct California Glass Insulator company, assuming its assets and liabilities, and will engage in a general glass manufacturing business. W. A. Farmer is president of the new company and M. L. Orcutt the secretary. The capitalization is $150,000. Attachment of the plant on Anaheim street was brought by the manager of the old company. R. P. Frisk, and is being contested, the contestants being represented by Swaffield & Swaffield. S S. Stonaker, secretary of the old company, states that the counter claims brought against the former manager more than equaled the sum for which he attached the insulator works. Several expert glass men of the East will be associated with the new concern which announces that it will actively engaged in the manufacture of glass products within a short time. |
