The results of the games in the ninth round of the Muncie Industrial Baseball League schedule yesterday conformed almost exactly with the dope, the surprises being in the scores rather than in the winners. The leaders in the percentage standing boosed [sic] boosted their figures a little at the expense of those teams well down in the list. The changes in the standing were the jumps of Muncie Products above Warner Gear, of Hinde Dauch above Ontario and of the Hoosiers above the Y. M.

Muncie Products played true to form and trimmed the Warner Gear nine, 6 to 3. Hinde Dauch copped from Cap and Set Screw, overcoming an early lead and leading at the finish by a two-run margin. The strength displayed by the Ontario Silver-platers was rather unexpected. These men held the fast Hemingrays to a one-run lead until the ninth, when a volley of hits put the insulator makers well over the danger mark.
