Little Opposition in First Game

Winning Streak.

The Hemingray basketball team defeated the Gill Clay Pot team in an easy game played in the "Y" gym last evening, 48 to 13. In the first half the score was 23 to 10, but in the final period the claymen accounted for only one field goal and a foul marker. Ulery, playing forward for the Hemingray combination scored seven field goals. Barkman, a running mate, connected with six free tosses and four field goals.

Creamery Wins Again.

In a close and interesting game. the Malleable team lost to the Beatrice Cream­ery team, 26 to 20. The first half was fast and ended 12 to 11 in favor of the butter-makers. It was the basket eye of Morris, forward of the Creamery combination, that proved its biggest asset. He connected with seven field goals during the game, four of which came in the doubtful final period. Null, a team mate playing center, accounted for ten points from the field.
