Hemingrays and "Y" Teams of

In­dustrial League to Play Off Tie

at Ball Park.


Interest in Industrial League base­ball will reach one of the highest points of the season Saturday after­noon when the Y. M. C. A. and Hemingray Glass company teams — tied for first place in the league standing — meet at the North Walnut street ball park.

The two clubs will be scrapping for the first time this year. Each has a clean slate of four games won and none lost. Some of the best amateur players in the city are with the two outfits. The game will be called at 3 o’clock.

"Doc" Holsinger or "Chet" Longfellow will hurl for the Hemingrays and Bill Lewis will he behind the bat. The "Y" battery will be composed of Frank Kolwalski and Burns. Hilton, Davis, Love and O’Neil will be in the Hemingray infield. Newton, Piner, Elliott and Rogers will be in the "Y" infield with Sims Schultz and Weirback in the outfield.

Another interesting Industrial league contest will be played be­tween the Ball Brothers' team and the Ontario Silver Plate aggregation at the Silver Plate field at 2:30 o'clock.

The Republic Iron and Steel com­pany team will meet the Cap and Set Screw club at McCulloch park a so at 2:30 o’clock. The McCulloch Dark diamond will be repaired soon by the city. The Cap and Set Screw team has two new players in its roster.
